Madeleine’s yoga journey began in 2015 when she was seeking a way to relieve job stress and find mental separation between work and home life. In yoga, she found a way to center total energy to the present moment. This feeling of centeredness is what fuels her personal practice, and is what she hopes to share with students. She has explored many different styles of yoga throughout the years, from Vinyasa to Viniyoga.
She is a board certified Athletic Trainer in the US (equivalent to a Certified Athletic Therapist in Ireland) and worked for ten years rehabilitating and managing athletic injuries for American university and professional sports teams before moving to Cork. She completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training course with Himalaya in Cork in July 2022. She hopes to merge her background in injury management and rehabilitation with the healing aspects of yoga to deliver safe, conscientious classes to others.
