Lisa Fahy
Senior Yoga Teacher & Reformer Pilates Instructor

Lisa, originally from Cork, began her yoga journey in 2007 as a way to manage back issues, and it quickly became a cornerstone of her lifestyle. She views yoga in all its forms as an essential tool for maintaining physical and mental well-being in today’s fast-paced world.
Her passion for yoga deepened in 2011 during her first visit to India, where she completed her 200-hour Teacher Training with Yogachara Lalit Kumar at the Himalaya Yoga Valley Centre in Goa. Since then, she has practiced closely under Lalit and, on her return to Cork, transitioned into a full-time teaching career. In 2012, she joined Himalaya Yoga Valley Cork as Senior Yoga Teacher. In 2013 she returned to India to study closely under Lalit and the Teacher Training Team. In 2015 she completed her 300-hour advanced yoga teacher training with Lalit in Cork where she continues to teach a variety of classes including pregnancy yoga and assists with in-house teacher training and leads a vibrant team of wonderful yoga and pilates teachers.
After becoming a mother of three, Lisa returned to Reformer Pilates to rebuild strength in her deep core and pelvic muscles. Impressed by the rapid results and how well Pilates complemented her yoga practice, she was inspired to pursue instructor training. In 2025, she began her formal Reformer Pilates training and has since completed both Level 1 and Level 2 certifications.
Lisa now integrates her deep understanding of movement and body awareness across both yoga and Reformer Pilates, offering a balanced and holistic approach to wellness. She continues to teach yoga classes, mentor trainee teachers, and offer Reformer Pilates sessions that support functional strength and mindful movement.
In addition to her movement-based qualifications, Lisa holds diplomas in Applied Social Studies in Social Care, Holistic Massage, and Chakra Healing, further enriching her ability to support others on their wellness journey.
